The vineyard enjoyed a relatively unstressful growing season. January was bone dry and February rainfall was slight. e harvest started fast following a prolonged bloom and cold weather. Berry set was marginalized resulting in small clusters. Reds all matured rapidly but with smaller yields than the previous year.
This wine is slightly off-dry and very smooth on the palate. Layers of dark fruit flavor concentration. Aromas: notes of bing cherry, plum, and blueberry. Rich mouthfeel with a nice acid balance.
