Longevity Wines
Chardonnay
Winemakers Notes
The 2018 vintage will be remembered as being nearly perfect. We experienced a cold winter with average rainfall. Bud-break occurred during the warm breezes of Spring which brought about great fruit set. The larger than average crop combined with virtually ideal weather, produced maximum flavor in this vintage of Chardonnay. The wines of 2018 are powerful but elegant; with firm acidity and perfect balance.
Tasting Notes
A beautiful nose of melon, fresh pear, pineapple, and white blossom with hints of mint, yeast and sweetly toasted oak. The mouth is clean and bright, filled with flavors of honeydew and lemon. The finish is long and structured due to the great balance of acidity.
