PINO Cellars
Rosé of Pinot Noir
Winemaker Notes
2017 was a gracious year for Oregon grape growing. A warm summer and dry fall guaranteed the grapes would reach full ripeness, unscathed by rain. The grapes for PINO Rose of Pinot came from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The fresh grapes were gently handled in the winery by directly pressing the whole clusters to achieve a delicate fruit flavor and a lightly colored juice. Cold fermentation preserved the exquisite characteristics of the wine.
Tasting Notes
A wine with soft pink color exhibiting flavors of strawberry, cranberry, and raspberry. The natural, crisp acidity promotes its appeal with a broad range of foods.
Food Pairing Suggestions
Fried chicken, shrimp scampi, curried lamb and rice, salade Niçoise, quiche, Indian, Mexican, and Thai cuisine.
